About Us

Honolulu ASA is the Honolulu, Hawaii chapter of Americans for Safe Access (ASA). Honolulu ASA represents, and furthers the mission and purpose of Americans for Safe Access on the island of Oahu and throughout the State of Hawaii.

The mission of Americans for Safe Access is to ensure safe and legal access to cannabis (marijuana) for therapeutic uses and research.

Some of the ways that we will achieve our mission is by concentrating on the following areas:

 

  • Legislative Activism & Lobbying
    • Lobbying Congressmen & Senators to affect changes in Federal Laws concerning Medical Marijuana
    • Lobbying local politicians to affect changes in State Laws concerning Medical Marijuana

 

 

  • Education
    • Educate the general public on Medical Marijuana and its research
    • Educate law enforcement on Medical Marijuana and its research
    • Providing Educational Materials on Medical Marijuana
    • Sponsor public forums to discuss Medical Marijuana

 

 

  • Support
    • Provide a support network for Medical Marijuana patients and their caregivers
